Why We Give
"Every good and p​erfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." -James 1:17 NIV
The church gives because Jesus gave us the ultimate gift of his life. We believe that our lives are in God's hands. Everything we have is given from him. In the Bible, God instructs us to give our tithes to him; giving shows that you are obedient to his word. While giving, we are showing God that we are fully surrendering to him. We give because we love God, we love others, and we want to make a difference in the Kingdom of Heaven.
